DÚDOLÓ
Hand-sewn herbal salt pillow for ages 0–5. Brand concept, visual identity, offer, campaign and a 90-day launch plan from A to Z.
01Executive summary
The research made one point very clear: at a premium price, this product cannot be sold to parents looking for colic relief. It can, however, be sold to gift buyers and parents building a ritual—and there is no competition there.
The three findings behind the entire plan
1. The “salt pillow” category is price-anchored at HUF 2,000–3,000
On the Hungarian market, baby and children’s salt pillows consistently cost HUF 1,980–3,790 (Manami, SalAura, Sóasztal, Bogi Levendulái, Boróka Műhely). Anyone selling a “salt pillow” for HUF 12,000 is selling an expensive version of a HUF 3,000 product. That frame has to be left behind.
Only one player has escaped it: Boróka Róka sells a plush fox with a removable salt pillow for HUF 18,990. It does not sell a salt pillow; it sells a gift. This proves that the premium segment exists.
2. In forums, parents are seeking relief rather than a product—and they are fatalistic
The dominant mood is: “there is no solution—well, there is: wait until it passes”, “You just have to survive it.” The biggest competitor is not another pillow but the belief that nothing helps. Two conversion killers compound this:
- HUF 800 price anchor —“the grape-seed pillow from dm is around HUF 800”
- Belief —“because babies cannot have salt”
If an ad is about stomach pain, a HUF 12,000 product has to overcome both objections. That is the wrong battle.
3. Gift buyers are looking for exactly this—and cannot find anything
The baby-visit gift range is HUF 3,000–6,000, while godparent and baby-shower gifts go higher. The recurring complaint is: “they already have everything for an 8-week-old baby”, “at birth there is more than enough of everything, including a pile of plush toys”. What they want is: “something lasting, a beautiful keepsake for a long time”, “I do not want anything expensive, but something useful, unique and lasting”.
A boxed, hand-sewn object embroidered with the child’s name—something they certainly do not already have—is exactly this gap.
The strategic decision
DÚDOLÓ is not a pillow for stomach pain. DÚDOLÓ is an object for the bedtime ritual —warmth, weight and the scent of lavender in a hand-sewn, name-embroidered piece presented in a gift box. The parent buys a ritual; the gift buyer buys a keepsake.
This decision solves three problems at once: (a) it exits the HUF 3,000 salt-pillow category, (b) it avoids legally prohibited therapeutic claims, and (c) it opens the gift market, where price is not the main objection.
What this playbook contains
Brand
Name, story, tagline, logo concept, colour palette, typography, packaging, product-photography direction and ready-to-use AI prompts.
Offer
Three product variants, value stack, guarantee, bonuses, upsell, refill model, pricing and estimated margin.
Campaign
Complete landing-page copy, 15 advertising concepts, six ready-to-use ads, four email sequences and a 30-day social calendar.
Execution
A phased 90-day plan, KPIs, three budget scenarios, a B2B package, SEO foundations and a risk list.
Targeting ages 0–12 months is the highest-risk point legally and from a safety perspective. For the smallest size, the plan therefore communicates use away from the baby , for pre-warming a swaddle and changing mat. Chapter 3 gives the details—have a lawyer validate this part before launch.
02Market overview
A crowded low-cost segment, an empty premium segment and a keyword nobody owns.
Direct competitors—baby and children’s salt pillows
| Brand | Product | Price | What we learn |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manami Babatextil | 14×17 cm, 500 g Praid salt + lavender, removable cover | HUF 3,000 (sale price 2,490) | Handmade quality alone does not raise the price |
| SalAura | 11 children’s patterns, 1.5 kg Himalayan salt | HUF 2,990–3,690 | It sold for 2,490 on a coupon site—there is no brand power |
| Sóasztal | 1–1.5 kg Praid salt, licensed patterns (Bing, Paw Patrol) | HUF 2,790–3,790 | A licence captures children’s attention but is not premium |
| Babaágyneműbolt | “Happy salt pillow”, 20 patterns | HUF 2,890 | One price; assortment-led competition |
| Bogi Levendulái | 16×24 cm, 500 g salt + 20 g organic lavender | HUF 1,980 | Many patterns are sold out—demand exists |
| Boróka Róka | 41 cm plush fox + removable 200 g herbal salt pillow | HUF 18,990 | Proof of the premium segment —HU/EN/DE site, built for export |
Substitute products—seed pillows
| Product | Price | Channel |
|---|---|---|
| dm grape-seed pillow (the price anchor in forums) | approx. HUF 800 | Drugstore |
| Móka Shop cherry-pit pillow, 250 g | HUF 3,890 | Online shop |
| BABYJEM cherry-pit belt pillow | HUF 3,490 | Baby shop |
| Popolini cherry-pit pillow | HUF 4,990–6,990 | Organic baby shop |
| Novetex mother-and-baby cherry-pit pillow, 20×40 cm | HUF 7,790 | Online shop |
| Prana Baby cherry-pit pillow | HUF 8,920 | Pharmacy online shop |
| Fellhof wool lamb cherry-pit pillow | HUF 11,900 | Organic baby shop |
The Hungarian market already pays HUF 8,000–12,000 today —but only for an imported brand (Prana, Fellhof) or a plush form (Boróka Róka). Hungarian handmade salt pillows are cheap because they sell themselves as salt pillows . Form and category name are decisive, not origin.
Export gap
On Etsy, the “Kirschkernkissen” / “cherry stone baby pillow” category costs EUR 13–21 (approx. HUF 5,200–8,400) and is scalable: one German Etsy shop achieved 27,100 sales in seven years with a 4.8 rating. In the DACH mass market, Rossmann classifies the same product as a medical device (Medizinprodukt). Hungarian handmade price levels are a fraction of this. If the brand launches in HU/DE/EN, the domestic premium price is a normal price in Germany.
Channel map
| Channel | Status | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Own online shop | Dominant model (Manami, Sóasztal, SalAura, Boróka) | Primary. This is where the brand and margin are built |
| Meska.hu | Has dedicated salt-pillow and cherry-pit-pillow categories | Secondary; useful for a free demand test |
| Árukereső / ÁrGép | Imported brands only; no handmade products | Avoid—pure price competition |
| Pharmacy online shops | Only branded products with CE marking (Prana HUF 9,000–11,000) | Only if you later pursue the medical-device route—not now |
| Organic and baby shops | Mamami Bolt, Kangaboo, Tégel | Main B2B target. They already have shelves for HUF 5,000–12,000 products |
| Offline fairs | Pici Piac (Fény Street Market, 50+ Hungarian brands), BabaMama Expo | Essential. This is where you validate the price in person |
| Vatera / Facebook Marketplace | No meaningful supply | Not relevant |
The unclaimed keyword
No Hungarian online shop optimises for the phrase “pillow for colic / stomach pain” —search results lead to medicines and baby bottles. This is open territory for SEO, but according to Chapter 3, advertising or optimising for that phrase is legally prohibited. What is permitted is using the parent’s problem language in blog and advisory content while selling the product in the language of rituals and gifts.
No specific Hungarian search-volume data is public for any of these keywords. Before launch, run Google Keyword Planner from your own account and review Search Console after the first 60 days—the real data overrides the estimates here.
03Legal framework and claims list
This chapter matters more than the ad copy. One wrong sentence can classify the product as a medical device or trigger a consumer-protection proceeding.
The following summary is based on public sources and is for information only. Have it validated by a lawyer and compliance adviser before launch—especially the toy classification and targeting of ages 0–12 months.
3.1 · What may and may not be claimed
PROHIBITED—none of these may be published
- “against colic”, “for stomach pain”, “eliminates bloating”
- “cures”, “treats”, “relieves pain”
- “antispasmodic”, “for earache”, “against colds”
- “helps with falling asleep”, “for sleep disorders”
- “clinically proven”, “recommended by doctors”
- “safe for infants”
- the name of any disease or symptom
PERMITTED—build the copy on these
- “a heatable and coolable pillow in a textile cover”
- “a pleasant, mild lavender scent”
- “many people find the sensation of warmth pleasant”
- “the pillow’s weight provides gentle, even pressure”
- “natural materials: Praid salt and dried lavender”
- “washable cover, hand-sewn in Hungary”
- “part of the bedtime ritual, under adult supervision”
Why this is so strict: under point 17 of the annex to Hungary’s Unfair Commercial Practices Act (Act XLVII of 2008), it is per se unfair to claim that a product can cure diseases. The Hungarian Competition Authority does not examine whether the product works, but whether its communication implies a therapeutic effect. In addition, under the MDR (2017/745), if the manufacturer’s intended purpose is to alleviate disease, the product becomes a medical device—with CE marking, clinical evaluation and EUDAMED registration. That is not viable for a handmade brand.
If a customer writes in a review that “it made the stomach pain go away” and you feature it on the landing page, it becomes your claim. It must be moderated. Guide the question in the review-request email: “What did your bedtime ritual become like?”—do not ask whether it helped with anything.
3.2 · Is the product a toy?
Under Directive 2009/48/EC (implemented in Hungary by NGM Decree 38/2011), anything intended for play by children under 14 is a toy—even if that is not its sole purpose. Under the Commission’s “play value” test, a plush figure, face, 3D element or rattle = play value = toy, requiring CE marking, EN 71-1/2/3 testing and an EU declaration of conformity.
If the pillow is a plush animal shape with a face (like Boróka Róka), it is very likely to be classified as a toy and must undergo the full EN 71 test package. If it is a simple, faceless textile pillow with a geometric or silhouette pattern, it is likely not a toy—but a “Not a toy” label alone provides no exemption if its appearance and marketing are toy-like.
Recommendation: launch with a faceless, printed textile pillow (the brand lives in the pattern, not the form). If the business later succeeds, launch the plush line separately with EN 71 certification.
New development: the (EU) 2025/2509 Toy Safety Regulation entered into force on 1 January 2026, generally applies from 1 August 2030, expands the definition to reasonably foreseeable use and introduces a digital product passport. Take this into account during design.
3.3 · GPSR—the mandatory minimum
The (EU) 2023/988 General Product Safety Regulation has applied since 13 December 2024. If you commission the sewing or market it under your own name, you are considered the manufacturer.
| Obligation | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Internal risk analysis + technical documentation | Written file: product description, materials, risks and standards applied. It need not be submitted to an authority, but must be produced on request |
| On the product / packaging | Batch or serial number, manufacturer’s name, postal address AND electronic contact details |
| Instructions for use and safety information | In Hungarian, in plain language, on or accompanying the product |
| Article 19—online offer | The product page must show before purchase : manufacturer’s name, postal and electronic contact details, product image, type, identifier and warnings |
| Article 20—accident reporting | Safety Business Gateway |
| Complaint register | Must be maintained; customers must be notified directly in the event of a recall |
3.4 · Mandatory warning package
Put this on the sewn-in product label, packaging and online product page:
The BBC reported a fatal house fire caused by a microwaved wheat bag; according to the London Fire Brigade, the bag can accumulate heat under a blanket and ignite. There is no harmonised EU standard for heatable seed pillows—in the United Kingdom, BS 8433:2004 is the reference. Consider applying it voluntarily and mentioning this in marketing (“designed in accordance with the British BS 8433 recommendation”—a factual statement, not a therapeutic claim).
3.5 · Selecting herbs
| Plant | Status | Source rationale |
|---|---|---|
| Mint / menthol | EXCLUDED | EMA: contraindicated under age 2 due to the risk of reflex apnoea and laryngospasm |
| Eucalyptus | EXCLUDED | EMA: prohibited under 30 months |
| Camphor, rosemary essential oil | EXCLUDED | Same mechanism of action (1,8-cineole) |
| Lavender (dried flower) | Base ingredient | Lower risk, but not “proven safe”—use a low proportion |
| Chamomile | With caution | Asteraceae—possible allergy. List it as an allergen |
| Lemon balm | May be used | Mild and familiar |
| Any essential oil in the filling | EXCLUDED | Dried plant material only; never concentrate |
“Dried lavender flowers only, with no essential oil”—this is a strong, truthful and verifiable differentiator that also addresses the most important parental concern. Put it in the first third of the product page.
3.6 · Mandatory online-shop elements
- Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (26 February) —pre-contract information, 14-day right of withdrawal and model withdrawal form. The hygiene exception (Section 29(1)(e)) applies only to sealed products and requires specific packaging—handle return eligibility for the cover separately
- Hungarian Electronic Commerce Act (Act CVIII of 2001) —service-provider details and terms and conditions
- GDPR —privacy notice, cookie management and Consent Mode v2
- Hungarian Consumer Protection Act —complaint handling and information about conciliation bodies
- The EU ODR platform closed on 20 July 2025 ((EU) 2024/3228)—remove the ODR link from the terms and conditions; instead provide the conciliation body and, for cross-border cases, the European Consumer Centre
- 1007/2011/EU —textile-fibre composition labelling for the cover

04ICP and voice of customer
Four segments, two priorities. The money is not where the pain is greatest.
The four segments
| Segment | Who they are | What they buy | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| P1—Exhausted Kata | 28–38, first baby aged 0–12 months, sleep-deprived, has tried everything | Seeks relief. Price-sensitive and sceptical; compares it with dm’s HUF 800 pillow | Not primary |
| P2—Gift-giver Anna | 30–55, grandmother, godmother, colleague or sibling | A keepsake and “something they definitely do not have”. Price is not the main objection | Priority 1 |
| P3—Ritual Rita | 30–40, child aged 1–4, conscious parent, natural materials, screen-free evenings | A ritual and tangible quality. A repeat customer who buys refills | Priority 1 |
| P4—Dad Ádám | 32–42, handles the “evening shift”: bath and bedtime | A simple, practical tool for his own routine. Also an active gift buyer (Mother’s Day, birthdays) | Priority 2 |
| P5—B2B buyer | Organic or baby shop, design shop, doula or midwife | A shelf-ready, Hungarian, well-packaged product that sells itself | Priority 2 |
Kata has the greatest pain, but three factors coincide: (1) legally, you cannot promise what she wants to hear, (2) the HUF 800 price anchor, and (3) fatalism. Kata comes later : when Anna buys it for her as a gift, Kata becomes a brand advocate. The funnel therefore runs Anna → Kata, not the reverse.
Voice of customer—real quotes suitable for ad copy
The language of exhaustion
Fatalism—the main competitor
The objections—the landing page must answer these
| Objection | Verbatim | Landing-page answer |
|---|---|---|
| Overheating | “Be careful not to overheat it, because it can get very hot.” | Fixed heating time on the label + temperature-check ritual + BS 8433 reference |
| Weight on the baby | “isn’t that dm pillow too heavy for a small baby?” | A sized product line: the smallest is 200 g and is not used on the baby |
| “Babies cannot have salt” | “we adults also use warm salt, but because babies cannot have salt” | Separate block: the salt is sealed in the inner insert, does not touch the skin and is not for consumption |
| Ineffectiveness | “unfortunately it did not work for us” | 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee |
| Price anchor | “it is around HUF 800” (dm) | Do not defend the price— change the category: this is not a seed pillow but a name-embroidered ritual object in a gift box |
| Uncertainty about use | “I just do not know how to lay the baby on it. Or do I not need to?” | Three-step ritual card in the box + 40-second video on the product page |
The gift buyer’s pain
“They have everything” + “lasting, beautiful keepsake” + “unique” + “a slightly more expensive category, but I love it”. DÚDOLÓ delivers exactly those four ideas: they do not have one, it is personalised, hand-sewn and costs HUF 12,000. Here, the price is an advantage: it signals that you meant it seriously.
The language of desire—suitable for headlines
1. “It worked” is the strongest Hungarian social-proof phrase in this category. Not “effective”, not “I recommend it”, but “it worked”. Build the review request and review-section heading around it: “Who did it work for?”
2. Weight is as important as warmth. Parents say this without prompting. Most competitors discuss warmth only. DÚDOLÓ speaks to three senses: warmth, weight and scent. That mechanism explains why it is not the same as a seed pillow from dm.
Unexpected uses—add them to the product page
- “I used it as a bed warmer in the cot” ( beforeputting the baby down, then removed—it is safe and can be communicated)
- “we also used it to pre-warm the swaddle”
- “I put it on the tummy in the pram”
Pre-warming the swaddle and changing mat is the main communicated use of the smallest size: real, initiated by parents, safe and entirely free of claims.
05Brand concept
Five name proposals, one recommendation and a complete brand system.
Name proposals
| Name | Meaning / logic | Strength | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| DÚDOLÓ recommended | The one who hums—a personification of the bedtime song | Deeply Hungarian, warm, ownable, no therapeutic implication, and sounds good when spoken by a child | For export, the pronunciation of “dudolo” is slightly uncertain in other languages, but it is pronounceable |
| SÓHAJ | Salt + sigh—the sound of relief | A brilliant, instantly memorable wordplay that contains the product | Works only in Hungarian. “Sóhaj” (sigh) also has a slightly melancholy undertone |
| MELENGŐ | Something that warms | Descriptive, immediately understandable and warm-sounding | Too descriptive—harder to trademark and easier to copy |
| HAMVASKA | Soft-bloomed + diminutive suffix—a folk-tale feel | Unique, story-like, premium handmade mood | Does not explain itself and requires more brand building |
| LULLA & SÓ | Lullaby + salt | Export-friendly; works in HU/EN/DE markets | Less distinctive; many “Lulla” brands already exist internationally |
The complete positioning is contained in one word: it is about the evening moment, not the symptom. No therapeutic meaning can be read into it, so it is legally clean. Spoken aloud, it feels warm and personal. Most of all, a grandmother seeking a gift immediately understands what she is buying—not a product, but an evening hum.
Check the dudolo.hu domain, Instagram and Facebook handles, and run a trademark search in the SZTNH online database (Nice Classes 24 and 20, possibly 28). This has not yet been checked—it is your first practical step.
Brand-story framework
The following is a frameworkto fill with your own true story. An invented grandmother or nonexistent craft workshop creates consumer-protection and credibility risk—and the parenting community will spot it ruthlessly.
The story’s three layers
- Origin —where the idea came from. A real personal situation works best: one evening, one child, one solution. Specific, not generic.
- Craft —who sews it, where and from what. Name, face and place. This is the most valuable part of the premium price and cannot be fabricated.
- Principle —what we deliberately leave out: essential oil, mint, a plush face and plastic. “What we left out” is often stronger than “what we put in”.
Taglines
Primary tagline (emotional)
“The day’s final embrace.”
The hero, packaging and brand language build on this. No claim; pure emotion.
Functional subheading
“Warmth. Weight. Lavender.
Hand-sewn in Hungary.”
This goes into ads and the product page—three senses, one origin and verifiable statements.
Brand voice
| How we speak | How we do not speak |
|---|---|
| Quiet, specific and addressed to the adult | Overly cute, baby-talking and full of exclamation marks |
| “The pillow’s weight provides gentle pressure.” | “It brings wonderful calm to your little tummy!” |
| Explains what we leave out | Overpromises or implies |
| Acknowledges the parent’s exhaustion without pitying them | Creates guilt (“every good parent...”) |
| Short sentences and plenty of white space | Crowded and full of lists |

06Logo and visual identity
The logo’s most important technical requirement: it must be embroiderable in one colour at 2 cm. The textile product, rather than the screen, determines the form.
Logo concept—“The sign of humming”
How the symbol is built
A soft arc —the curve of a sleeping child’s back and the pillow’s silhouette. Above it are three rising dots —a visual sign for humming (“hmm-hmm-hmm”), with fading opacity as though the sound were becoming quieter.
Why it works:
- Embroiderable —four closed shapes, no gradient and no thin line. Legible even at 2 cm
- Ownable —not a moon, cloud or teddy bear. Nobody in the category uses anything like it
- Scalable meaning —the three dots recur on the packaging, ritual card (three steps) and product line (three sizes)
- Not toy-like —important because of the legal chapter: no face and no figure
Logo variants to produce
| Variant | Use | Format |
|---|---|---|
| Primary horizontal (symbol + wordmark) | Website header, invoice, business card | SVG + PNG (2x, 3x) |
| Stacked (symbol above wordmark) | Packaging, Instagram profile picture, belly band | SVG + PNG |
| Symbol only | Embroidery on the pillow, favicon, stamp | SVG, one colour |
| Single-colour reversed | Dark background, kraft box | SVG |
| Embroidery file | Sewing workshop | DST / PES, 20 mm and 35 mm |
Colour palette
| Colour | Role | Proportion |
|---|---|---|
| Milk white | Base background everywhere | 50% |
| Sand | Secondary surfaces, packaging and cards | 25% |
| Night blue | Text, logo and contrast | 15% |
| Clay | The only accent: CTA buttons, highlights and belly band | 7% |
| Sage, Lavender | Differentiating the product line; illustration | 3% |
The whole category is awash in them. Warm, earthy neutrals (sand, clay and sage) immediately place the product on the “handmade gift for adult taste” shelf—and speak directly to the gift buyer who is buying something beautiful for the parent , not the child. One colour drives action: clay. If everything is highlighted, nothing is.
Typography
Fraunces
Headings, wordmark and prices. A variable-weight serif with a “soft” optical axis. Warm and slightly old-fashioned, without feeling nostalgic. Self-hosted font with full Hungarian accented-character support.
Weights: 400 (quotation), 600 (heading), 700 (wordmark)
Inter
Body text, buttons, forms and labels. Neutral and highly legible on screen even at small sizes, with full Hungarian accented-character support. Free and optimised for the web.
Weights: 400 (text), 500 (emphasis), 600–700 (button, label)
Type scale
| Element | Typeface | Size (desktop / mobile) |
|---|---|---|
| Hero heading | Fraunces 600 | 48 / 30 px |
| Section heading | Fraunces 600 | 32 / 24 px |
| Subheading | Inter 500 | 19 / 17 px |
| Body text | Inter 400 | 16 / 16 px |
| Button | Inter 600 | 16 px, 0.02em letter spacing |
| Small text (legal, labels) | Inter 400 | 13 px |
Pattern system
The product surface is the brand’s main visual carrier. Three printed patterns, all faceless (for legal reasons; see 3.2):
Lavender Field
Fine, repeating lavender sprigs in sage and lavender on a milk-white ground. The “calm” pattern.
Night Arc
Repeating, fading arcs and dots—the logo symbol as a pattern. Night blue on sand. The “ritual” pattern.
Salt Crystal
A geometric hexagonal salt-crystal grid in clay. The “craft” pattern, for B2B and male gift buyers.
07Packaging and product photography
At a premium price, the box is not a cost but half the product. The gift buyer hands over the box, not the pillow.
Packaging
Outer—rigid kraft box
- Matte natural kraft with a magnetic or ribbon closure. Sized for the pillow with a 3–4 cm recess
- Die-cut window in the shape of the logo arc —without transparent film, shape only. The pillow pattern shows through
- Clay-coloured belly band around the box: logo, size name (“Owl · 1–3 years”) and tagline
- Back: mandatory GPSR information, composition, washing instructions and batch number
Inside—what appears on opening
- Tissue paper in sand, closed with a clay-coloured seal (the logo symbol as the seal)
- The pillow inside its cover
- Ritual card —the most important piece. Three steps, three dots (the logo’s three dots): 1. Warm · 2. Embrace · 3. Hum. A Hungarian lullaby on the reverse
- Safety card —on a separate sheet, using the text from Section 3.4. Do not hide it: this is why the parent trusts you
- Refill coupon —QR code, 15% off the first herbal refill. This starts repeat purchasing
If the box is good, customers photograph and share it themselves. This is the only marketing cost where the customer’s pocket pays for the next customer. Together, the ritual card and seal cost approximately HUF 300–500, and these two elements generate the most organic posts.
Product-photography direction
| Type | Number | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Still life (packshot) | 3 / product | Milk-white or sand background, soft side light and a long, soft shadow. Pillow on slightly rumpled bedding |
| Detail | 2 / product | Macro of the stitching, embroidered name and cover texture. This validates the handmade price |
| Materials | 3 total | Scattered Praid salt, a bunch of dried lavender and raw cotton. Overhead shot on a dark night-blue ground |
| Context | 4 total | Evening room, warm lamplight, parent’s hand on the pillow. No child’s face or only seen from behind |
| Packaging | 3 total | Closed box, half-open box and unpacked contents in a flat lay |
| Size comparison | 1 | All three sizes side by side with an adult hand |
Do not photograph the pillow on the baby or beside a sleeping child in a cot . That contradicts your own safety card and can be used against you in a complaint. In context photos, show the pillow in the parent’s hand, on the changing mat or on the bed before the child is put down—without a child, or while showing adult supervision.
08Product line and offer
Three sizes, three age groups and three uses. For the smallest size, the communicated use is not on the baby—solving the legal and safety problem at the same time.
The product line
| Product | Age | Size / filling | Communicated use | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DÚDOLÓ Hedgehog | 0–1 year | 13×17 cm · 200 g Praid salt + 10 g lavender | Pre-warming the swaddle and changing mat. Not on the baby—it warms the textile so undressing does not feel like a cold shock | HUF 9,900 |
| DÚDOLÓ Owl | 1–3 years | 18×22 cm · 400 g salt + 20 g lavender | An object for the bedtime ritual: held on the lap during a story, with adult supervision | HUF 11,900 |
| DÚDOLÓ Fox | 3–5 years | 22×26 cm · 600 g salt + 30 g lavender | Bedtime ritual + chilled for bumps, the stomach or the back of the neck | HUF 13,900 |
No warming pillow can responsibly be placed on a baby aged 0–1. But parents already do this on their own: “we also used it to pre-warm the swaddle”. The Hedgehog formalises this real, safe use. The 0–1 segment can therefore be served—and this is precisely the age group receiving gifts.
Accessories and refills
| Item | Price | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Name embroidery (max. 12 characters) | +HUF 2,490 | The most important upsell. It makes the item a “lasting keepsake”, justifies the price and rules out returns |
| Herbal refill insert | HUF 2,990 | Recurring revenue. Recommended replacement every 6–9 months |
| Spare cover (for washing) | HUF 3,490 | Practical reason, high margin |
| Gift card with a handwritten message | free | Reduces friction for the gift buyer |
Bundles
Sibling set (2 items, any sizes)
HUF 21,900 instead of HUF 23,800–25,800
Its purpose is not the discount but the realisation that the second child needs one too. A strong Christmas and christening offer.
Baby-shower gift box
HUF 16,900
Hedgehog + muslin cloth + ritual booklet (seven evening habits) + handwritten card in a larger box. This is the primary product for P2 Anna—it raises AOV from HUF 9,900 to HUF 16,900.
Value stack—what the customer is really buying
| Element | Perceived value | What it solves |
|---|---|---|
| Hand-sewn pillow, Praid salt + Hungarian lavender | HUF 7,000 | The product itself |
| Removable, washable organic cotton cover | HUF 3,500 | “How long will it last?”—hygiene |
| Name embroidery | HUF 2,490 | “Lasting and unique”—the gift buyer’s main criterion |

Guarantee
Try it for seven evenings. If it has not become part of your routine, return it during the first 30 days and we will refund the full price—even for a name-embroidered piece.
Why this works: (a) it promises no outcome, so it is legally clean, (b) “seven evenings” is specific and testable, and (c) taking back personalised pieces is bold, which makes the promise credible—in practice, it is rarely used because people generally do not return personalised items. Do not resell returned pieces; donate them to a maternity ward or parent-and-baby association to create PR value.
Bonuses mapped to objections
| Objection | Bonus | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| “I do not know how to use it” | Ritual card + 40-second video | In the box and on the product page |
| “What else should I include with the gift?” | Gift card with handwritten message, free | Selectable in the basket |
| “How long does the scent last?” | 15% coupon for the first refill | In the box via QR code |
| “It is too expensive” | Sibling set and bundle price | Product page, basket upsell |
| “I do not have time to wrap it” | Direct delivery to the recipient, without showing the sender | Checkout option |
Scarcity—only when real
- Capacity: “We are making 40 pieces this week.” If production is handmade, this is true—say it and honour it
- Name-embroidery deadline: “For Christmas, we accept orders placed by 12 December.” A real logistical constraint
- Seasonal pattern: a limited pattern series that genuinely sells out and does not return
Fake countdowns, “only 2 left” when untrue, or a never-ending “sale”. The parenting community tells one another, and this kind of trick spreads faster here than almost anywhere else.
09Pricing and margin
The figures are estimates that must be replaced with your own supplier quotations. The logic still holds.
I do not know your real material prices or contract-sewing fee. The ranges below are market estimates. Request three quotations from sewing workshops, box printers and salt suppliers, then replace the table—the entire advertising strategy succeeds or fails on the contribution figure.
Estimated cost—DÚDOLÓ Owl (HUF 11,900)
| Item | Estimated cost |
|---|---|
| Outer fabric (organic cotton / muslin), approx. 0.3 m² | HUF 900–1,400 |
| Inner filling-bag fabric | HUF 200–300 |
| Contract sewing (inner insert + removable cover) | HUF 1,500–2,500 |
| Praid salt, 400 g | HUF 120–250 |
| Dried lavender, 20 g | HUF 250–450 |
| Label, washing + safety + ritual card | HUF 250–400 |
| Gift box, belly band, tissue paper and seal | HUF 700–1,200 |
| Shipping packaging | HUF 200–350 |
| Total cost | HUF 4,120–6,850 (midpoint: approx. HUF 5,500) |
Contribution calculation
With a HUF 3,870 contribution, the break-even CAC is HUF 3,870. If you want 30% profit from the contribution, the target CAC is approximately HUF 2,500 —and this still excludes returns, bank fees and your time.
This is tight but possible. Three things widen it:
- Raise AOV. Without name embroidery (+HUF 2,490) and bundles, the economics do not work. Target AOV: HUF 16,000–18,000. Contribution then reaches approximately HUF 6,500–7,500, widening target CAC to HUF 4,000–4,500
- Repeat purchase. Refills (HUF 2,990) and spare covers (HUF 3,490) have high margins and no advertising cost. This raises LTV
- Non-paid channels. B2B, fairs, influencer seeding and organic—these have no CAC, only time and product cost
B2B / reseller price
| Tier | Discount | Net unit price (Owl) | Condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Retailer | 50% | HUF 4,685 | Minimum 10 mixed items; maintain recommended retail price |
| Preferred partner | 55% | HUF 4,217 | Minimum 30 items / quarter; place a display box |
| Consignment | 40% | HUF 5,622 | First collaboration only, 60-day settlement |
At a 50% reseller discount, the Owl’s contribution is approximately –HUF 800 at the current cost. This does not work. B2B requires simpler packaging (no belly band on the box, shipped in an outer carton), removing approximately HUF 1,200–1,800 from cost, plus cheaper contract sewing in production runs of 30 or more. Launch B2B only when high-volume unit cost falls below HUF 3,200.
Export pricing (DACH)
The Etsy reference is EUR 13–21. DÚDOLÓ Owl at HUF 11,900 ≈ EUR 30 (at about HUF 395/EUR)—the upper Etsy band, but justifiable with name embroidery and a box; Fellhof’s Hungarian price of HUF 11,900 shows that German brands sit in this range here too. Recommended DACH price: EUR 34.90 (Owl), with free delivery above EUR 60. This gives a higher contribution than the Hungarian price and covers international shipping.
The exchange rate was estimated when the playbook was created—run the actual calculation using the current rate.
10Landing page—complete copy
One page, two entry points: the gift buyer and the parent. The structure follows the order of objections.
Page structure

1 · Hero
2 · The three senses
3 · Product selector
4 · What is inside, and what is not
5 · Safety
6 · The bedtime ritual
7 · As a gift
8 · The workshop
Put the real workshop, real seamstress and real location here—with a name and photograph. This block justifies the HUF 11,900 price. If it is invented or generic (“in our small Hungarian workshop”), the credibility of the whole page falls with it. What to include: one face, one place, one number (how many items are made each week), and one handwritten sentence explaining why you do it.
9 · Who did it work for?
Only publish reviews that contain no therapeutic claim. If a customer writes “it made the stomach pain go away”, do not publish it—that becomes your claim. Ask this in the review-request email: “What did your bedtime ritual become like?” —this produces usable answers from the start.

11 · FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| From what age can it be used? | The Hedgehog size can be used from birth—but to warm the swaddle and changing mat, not on the baby. Owl is for ages 1 and above, Fox for ages 3 and above, always with adult supervision. |
| Will it become too hot? | Forty-five seconds at 600 W is the maximum, and it must be checked on the wrist before every use. The label says the same. Do not exceed the time and do not reheat until it has cooled completely. |
| Is it washable? | The outer cover is machine-washable at 40°C. The inner insert must never come into contact with water. |
| How long does the lavender scent last? | Depending on use, 6–9 months. A replacement insert can then be ordered for HUF 2,990. |
| What if the child is allergic to lavender? | On request, we also make it without lavender, using salt only. Add this to the order note. |
| Can it also be chilled? | Yes. Place it in a bag in the refrigerator for one hour. This is a separately communicated use for Fox. |
| How long does delivery take? | Without name embroidery, 2–3 working days; with embroidery, 4–6 working days. |
| Can it be sent directly as a gift? | Yes, without identifying the sender and with a handwritten card. Select the option at checkout. |

11Advertising plan—15 concepts
Following the Diversity Formula: Awareness × Format × Angle × Persona. Two ideas are different only when at least one dimension differs—the same image with another headline is not a new ad because the algorithm shows it to 90% of the same people.
Summary
Offer: hand-sewn herbal salt pillow for ages 0–5, HUF 9,900–13,900, with name embroidery and gift box
Audience: P2 Gift-giver Anna (primary), P3 Ritual Rita (primary), P4 Dad Ádám, P1 Exhausted Kata (retargeting)
Platform: Meta (Facebook + Instagram), later Pinterest and Google Shopping
Market sophistication (Theriot): Level 3—mechanism. The category exists and the market is sceptical (“it did not work for us”), so we must explain HOW it differs. This is why the “warmth + weight + scent” trio appears in every concept
Awareness distribution: 🔵 2 | 🟣 4 | 🟠 4 | 🟡 3 | 🟢 2
Format distribution: 🖼️ 5 | 🎥 4 | 🎠 3 | 📱 3
Strong: clear differentiator (no essential oil, three senses), name embroidery, gift box, real guarantee and clear product line.
Weak point: the contribution margin (41%) is tight for advertising. The HUF 9,900 entry product cannot be advertised profitably on its own— every ad should lead to the HUF 16,900 gift box or a name-embroidered configuration, not the cheapest SKU.
Missing at launch: social proof. Without the first 30 days of seeding (see Chapter 16), 🟠 and 🟡 level ads will not work.
Public forum quotes with attribution are generally usable, but legal risk is not zero. Safer route: collect the same statements from your own customers through seeding, and quote them by name or initials. Consult a lawyer before using forum quotes in advertising.
Coverage check
| Criterion | Result |
|---|---|
| At least three awareness levels | Five levels covered |
| At least four formats | Four formats (static, video, carousel, UGC) |
| At least five different angles | 13 different angles |
| No duplicate awareness × format × angle combinations | Pass |
| “Result without effort” in at least 2–3 ideas | #10, #11, #14 |
Wave 1 (days 0–30, five creatives): #1, #2, #6, #7, #10—the five with the lowest social-proof requirement.
Wave 2 (days 30–60): #3, #5, #8, #11, #12—reviews and seeding material are available by then.
Wave 3 (days 60–90): #4, #9, #13, #14, #15—retargeting and seasonal.
At scale, a creative fatigues in 7–10 days—this is not about finding one winner but maintaining a continuous supply.
12Ready-to-use ad copy
Six Meta ads ready for immediate use. Each passed the claims review and contains no implication of therapeutic effect.
Based on #1—Gift dilemma (static)
Based on #2—Mechanism (video)
Based on #7—Price justification (static)
Based on #8—Exclusion list (static)
Based on #10—How to use (video, for fathers)
Based on #11—Risk reversal (retargeting)
Meta restricts ads that refer to personal attributes (“Are you exhausted?”, “Does your baby cry too?”). The copy above deliberately does not address viewers through their condition —it uses third-person or general language. Preserve this in every new variant.
13Creative prompts
Copy-and-paste prompts for logos, packaging, product photography and ad creatives. Compatible with Nano Banana / GPT Image / Flux / Midjourney and written in English because models are more precise in English.
1. Generate logo and pattern → select → vectorise (SVG) → embroidery file.
2. After producing the real product, create real product photography —AI images must not be presented as real product photos; that creates consumer-protection risk.
3. Use AI for mood images, backgrounds, patterns and the moodboard.

Creative adaptation
| Format | Size | Placement |
|---|---|---|
| 1:1 | 1080×1080 | Feed static, carousel |
| 4:5 | 1080×1350 | Feed—the largest screen area, primary |
| 9:16 | 1080×1920 | Stories, Reels. Safe zone: 250 px top, 420 px bottom |
| 2:3 | 1000×1500 | |
| 16:9 | 1920×1080 | YouTube, website hero |
For adaptation, use the genmarketer-ad-resize specialist: layout reflow rather than cropping or outpainting. Exact reproduction of English typography is a mandatory QA step.
14Email marketing
Four sequences. The lead magnet does not promise sleep—it provides a ritual and therefore remains legally clean.
Lead magnet
“Winding down in the evening—7 habits that bring order to the hour before bedtime”
An eight-page PDF for ages 0–5. Not sleep advice or medical material— ritual building: sequence, light, sound, temperature and transitions. The final page presents DÚDOLÓ as one object in the ritual.
Why this is the right lead magnet: (a) it is claim-free, (b) it is exactly what P3 Rita seeks, (c) it positions the product as a tool rather than a solution, and (d) ritual language underpins the whole brand, so the material itself builds the brand.
1 · Welcome sequence (5 emails)
| # | Timing | Subject | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | immediately | Here is your evening wind-down | Delivery + introduction to the brand voice. No sale |
| 2 | +1 day | The seventh habit I did not include in the PDF | Extra value: the temperature transition. First soft mention |
| 3 | +3 days | Why it does not work through warmth alone | Mechanism: the three senses. Product introduction |
| 4 | +5 days | Four ingredients and a list of what we left out | Trust: essential oil, mint and safety. Objection handling |
| 5 | +8 days | Seven evenings | Offer + guarantee. First real CTA, without a discount |
2 · Abandoned basket (3 emails)
| # | Timing | Subject | Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | +1 hour | Still in your basket | Reminder + name-embroidery deadline. No discount |
| 2 | +20 hours | “It did not work for us”—we have an answer | Guarantee. Fear of ineffectiveness is the main barrier |
| 3 | +72 hours | If you intended it as a gift | Gift box, handwritten card and direct delivery. Final CTA |
For premium handmade positioning, a 10% coupon in the third email teaches customers always to abandon the basket. Instead of a discount, remove risk (guarantee) or add value (free handwritten card, free delivery).
3 · Post-purchase (4 emails)
| # | Timing | Subject | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | after ordering | We have it. We are sewing it now | Reduce waiting anxiety and state production time |
| 2 | delivery +1 day | Three steps before using it for the first time | Safety onboarding. This is the most important email in the entire system |
| 3 | +14 days | What did your bedtime ritual become like? | Review request—asked this way, it produces claim-free answers |
| 4 | +150 days | The lavender has faded by now | Refill with a 15% coupon. Repeat revenue |
4 · Gift season (5 emails, 5 November–12 December)
| # | Date | Subject |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5 Nov. | This year, do not make it another bodysuit |
| 2 | 15 Nov. | What should the embroidery say? (12 characters) |
| 3 | 27 Nov. | About the sibling set |
| 4 | 6 Dec. | Six days until the embroidery deadline |
| 5 | 12 Dec. | Name embroidery available until midnight today |
Technical setup
- MailerLite (supported by the GENmarketer connector) or ActiveCampaign. Automations: welcome, abandoned basket, post-purchase and seasonal campaign
- Segments: lead-magnet subscriber · customer · gift buyer (requested delivery to another address) · purchased 150+ days ago
- Deliverability: set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC at launch; send from your own domain
- Subscription points: lead-magnet pop-up (exit intent, after 20 seconds), strip below the product page, opt-in beside checkout, QR code in the box
15Organic social
Four content pillars and five posts per week. The BabyLion lesson: in a saturated baby market, expertise wins rather than price—the owner appears personally.
Content pillars
1 · Workshop (35%)
Sewing, material selection, rejected items, packaging and posting. Face and hands. This builds premium credibility and is the hardest to copy.
2 · Ritual (30%)
Evening habits, lullabies, transitions, light and temperature. Advisory content that never promises sleep—it only provides order.
3 · Materials (20%)
Praid salt, drying lavender, cotton, and why there is no essential oil. Educational and differentiating.
4 · Community (15%)
Customer photos, questions and answers, “who did it work for?” and gift-buyer stories.

| 29 | IG static | Workshop | Portrait: who sews it |
| 30 | IG carousel | Ritual | Monthly review: the month’s three best questions and answers |
Most Hungarian parenting groups prohibit open advertising and moderators are strict. The only approach that works is two or three genuine expert answers per week without links where the question falls within your field (evening routines, safe warming, what gift to bring). Your profile leads to the brand. This is slow, costs no money and builds precisely the trust an ad cannot.
An underrated channel for Hungarian baby products, and the gift-buyer segment searches there. Publish 12–16 pins per month in a 2:3 ratio: ritual-card graphics, packaging photos and “baby-shower gift ideas” boards. Every pin leads to the product page or lead magnet.
16Influencer and seeding programme
The most important task in the first 30 days is producing proof, not sales. An HUF 11,900 offer will not convert without reviews.
Seeding—50 items
| Recipient | Items | What we request in return |
|---|---|---|
| Micro-influencer mothers (2,000–15,000 followers) | 20 | One Story + one Reel or post in their own words. No script |
| Doulas, midwives and health visitors | 10 | An opinion and permission to mention their name. Not a professional endorsement—experience of use |
| Parents you know who speak honestly | 10 | Written review + photo. They supply the landing page’s “Who did it work for?” block |
| Potential B2B partners (shop managers) | 5 | Trial, followed by a conversation about listing |
| Grandmothers and godmothers (P2 validation) | 5 | Video review from the gift buyer’s perspective—source material for concept #9 |
1. The collaboration must be disclosed. If you provide a product, it is advertising: every post must be marked #collaboration or #gift. Omitting this creates consumer-protection risk.
2. Provide a brief explaining what they must NOT say. An influencer who means well but writes “it made the stomach pain go away” creates risk for you. The brief must contain the prohibited-word list (Section 3.1) and the mandatory safety sentence.
Affiliate programme (from day 60)
- 15% commission after the first purchase, 30-day cookie
- Unique coupon code for followers (not a discount but free name embroidery —so it does not reduce the price)
- Monthly payment from a minimum of HUF 10,000
- Target group: the 20 micro-influencers who genuinely posted after seeding and genuinely use the product
17Reseller (B2B) package
Organic and baby shops already have shelves for HUF 5,000–12,000 products (Popolini, Fellhof, Prana). The product should be listed there—but only with the right unit cost.
At a 50% reseller discount and the current estimated cost (HUF 5,500), Owl is loss-making. Start B2B only when high-volume unit cost falls below HUF 3,200: simplified packaging (no belly band on each box, shipped in an outer carton), sewing runs of 30+ items and larger-volume material purchasing.
Target partners
| Type | Specific examples | Why them |
|---|---|---|
| Organic baby shop | Mamami Bolt, Kangaboo, Tégel Babaszakáruház | They already stock seed pillows in the HUF 5,000–12,000 range (Popolini, Fellhof) |
| Design and gift shop | Hungarian craft shops, museum shops | The gift positioning speaks to them, outside the baby market |
| Doula and midwife network | Individual service providers | Trusted referral rather than shelf space. An affiliate model works |
| Hotels and wellness venues with children’s programmes | Family-friendly hotels | Gift item or in-room placement—a niche with high margin |
What to send the partner
- One-page product sheet —photo, price, reseller price, recommended retail price, composition, GPSR information and EAN code
- Sample package —one item in the real gift box. This sells the product, not the catalogue
- Display box —kraft counter display holding six items, with an enlarged ritual card
- Shelf label —the three senses and “not a toy”, so shop staff do not explain it incorrectly
- Compliance file —GPSR risk analysis, textile labelling and safety card. A serious retailer will request it
Fairs
| Event | Why | What it delivers |
|---|---|---|
| Pici Piac (Fény Street Market) | 50+ Hungarian craft brands, free admission, several events each year. The audience is exactly here | Live price validation, first customers, seeding, photo material and B2B contacts |
| BabaMama Expo (Budapest) | High volume, but a more expensive stand and more noise | Only when inventory can support 200+ items |
| Advent and Christmas craft fairs | Peak season for gift positioning | On-site name embroidery—this will be the strongest attraction |
At a fair, on-site name embroidery is the best investment: it creates a queue, draws a crowd and demonstrates in person why this is not an HUF 3,000 product.
18SEO foundations
Two-track strategy: product pages remain claim-free, while the blog may use parents’ problem language as advisory content without making promises about the product.
The keyword “pillow against colic” is unclaimed in the market, but a product must not be optimised for it —that would be a therapeutic claim. You may write an advisory blog post on the subject that informs rather than recommends the product as a solution, and leads to the brand. Do not place a direct product CTA in such an article.

Advertising
- Creative wave 2: #3, #5, #8, #11, #12. Replace fatigued creatives every 7–10 days
- Increase budget only when CAC measured over 30 orders remains consistently below target. Increase in steps of 20–30%

That your production capacity can cope. Handmade sewing capacity quickly becomes a wall: if Meta produces five orders a day, that is 35 items per week. If capacity is unavailable, stop advertising rather than extending the delivery deadline. Delay is the only thing that kills a baby-product brand faster than a bad product.
20KPIs, measurement and budget
These target figures are starting points, not benchmarks. No public CPM or CAC data exists for Hungarian handmade baby products—the first 30 days in your own account will be the truth.
What to measure, in priority order
| # | Metric | Starting target | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | AOV | HUF 16,000 | The most important number. Below HUF 12,000, advertising is mathematically unviable |
| 2 | CAC | < HUF 4,000 | At HUF 16,000 AOV, contribution is approximately HUF 6,500–7,500 |
| 3 | Name-embroidery rate | > 40% | The main driver of AOV. If low, it is positioned incorrectly in the basket |
| 4 | Landing-page conversion | 1.5–2.5% | Realistic for a premium gift product. Below 1%, the copy or proof is missing |
| 5 | Basket abandonment | < 70% | Around the e-commerce average. Above 80%, delivery cost or payment method is the problem |
| 6 | Return rate | < 5% | Must be monitored because of the guarantee. Above 8%, the product or expectation is wrong |
| 7 | Repeat purchase within 180 days | > 12% | Refill + sibling set. This produces LTV |
| 8 | Email subscription rate | > 3% | Achievable with the lead magnet |
Three budget scenarios
| Cautious | Base | Fast | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly advertising budget | HUF 150,000 | HUF 400,000 | HUF 1,000,000 |
| Daily budget | HUF 5,000 | HUF 13,000 | HUF 33,000 |
| Expected orders / month (at HUF 4,000 CAC) | ~37 | ~100 | ~250 |
| Revenue (HUF 16,000 AOV) | ~HUF 592,000 | ~HUF 1,600,000 | ~HUF 4,000,000 |
| Required production capacity / week | ~9 items | ~25 items | ~63 items |
| New creatives / month | 3–4 new | 6–8 new | 12–16 new |
| When to choose it | Until contribution is validated | When CAC is stable across 30 orders | Only in season, with inventory ready |
The order counts are illustrationscalculated backwards from the HUF 4,000 target CAC, not forecasts. Only the first 30 days in your own account reveal real CAC.
Measurement infrastructure
- GA4 + Consent Mode v2, with enhanced e-commerce events (view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase)
- Meta Pixel + Conversions API —CAPI is no longer optional; without it, 20–40% of events are lost. Deduplicate with event_id
- Search Console —organic search data and validation of Chapter 18 keywords
- Microsoft Clarity —free session recordings and heatmaps. See where visitors stop at the landing page’s “salt objection” and “safety” blocks
- One spreadsheet —weekly: spend, orders, AOV, CAC, contribution, inventory and production queue. This matters more than any dashboard
Contribution minus advertising spend. Not ROAS, CTR or follower count. If this figure is positive and growing, everything else is a detail. If it is negative, stop scaling immediately and inspect AOV first, not the creative.
21Risks
| Risk | Severity | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Product is classified as a toy | High | Faceless and figure-free form, “Not a toy” label, adult-oriented visual marketing. Obtain a lawyer’s opinion before launch, in writing |
| Proceeding over therapeutic claims | High | Apply the Section 3.1 claims list to every piece of copy. Influencer brief with prohibited terms. Review moderation. Monthly review of your own content |
| Burn or fire incident | High | Conservative heating time on the label, separate safety card, onboarding email and reference to BS 8433. Purchase product-liability insurance |
| Contribution cannot support advertising | High | Recalculate with real supplier prices before launching advertising. If contribution is below 35%, improve cost or AOV first |
| Production-capacity ceiling | Medium | Stop advertising rather than extend the deadline. Find a second sewing workshop by day 60 |
| Insufficient social proof at launch | Medium | The 30-day seeding programme is not optional. Without it, wave 2 creatives will not work |
| Forced into price competition | Medium | Do not list on Árukereső. Do not provide an abandoned-basket coupon. Always add value instead of discounting |
| Meta ad rejection | Medium | Do not address viewers through their condition. Use third-person, general language. Prepare a backup advertising account |
| Seasonality—no need for a warming pillow in summer | Medium | Communicate chilled use (Fox), and switch to gift positioning in summer (christenings, birthdays and baby showers happen all year) |
| Copying | Low | The product can be copied; the workshop and person cannot. This is why the plan includes the brand story and personal presence |
- Availability of the dudolo.hu domain and trademark
- A targeted EU Safety Gate review of recalls involving heatable salt and seed pillows
- Specific Hungarian search volume for the keywords
- Your real unit cost—all figures in Chapter 9 are estimates
- Whether the hygiene exception to the right of withdrawal applies to this product
22Next steps
Start two of these seven actions now. Everything else builds on them.
This week
- Name check. Check dudolo.hu, Instagram, Facebook and the SZTNH trademark database. If unavailable, the second choice is SÓHAJ
- Three supplier quotes. Sewing workshop, box printer, salt and lavender. These figures replace all calculations in Chapter 9
- Legal consultation. Two questions: whether the planned form is classed as a toy, and whether targeting ages 0–1 is acceptable with the described use
Over the next two weeks
- Finalise the logo using the prompts in Chapter 13, then create the vector and embroidery files
- Produce the first sample in all three sizes. You need to hold it before advertising anything
- Write the workshop section —Section 8 of Chapter 10. Only you can write this, and it justifies the HUF 11,900 price
- Build the seeding list —50 names, grouped by category
